Mark Loughran
Mark is a 4th Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo, a trained kick boxing instructor, tai chi leaders and Lil Dragons ambassador. He has been training in martial arts for over 15 years. With his background in medicine Mark specialises in breaking down techniques and utilising different teaching strategies to help students of all ages and experience levels reach their goals.
Mark is passionate in every session to make sure all students are happy & achieving their best results. He oversees over 40 classes per week and is program director of The Kick Boxing and Tai Chi programs. Mark is certified to teach all ages from 18 months to adults and is trained in childhood milestones and postural corrections. Mark is a preschool and school sports specialist, running many of our school and preschool sports sessions weekly. Mark is so passionate about the benefits martial arts has on self improvement and confidence that he donates his time to running sessions for the lower-socioeconomic, drug affected and underprivileged individuals through multiple charity organisations.
Mark holds certification in the Tai Chi for Health series, as well as the Tai Chi for Fall Prevention program. Mark aims to develop programs that are well suited to all ages and people with many chronic diseases after he himself has attributed his recovery from chronic fatigue to martial arts and a healthy mindset, diet and lifestyle.
Mark is passionate about making martial arts accessible to everyone and in making martial arts the medium for members to build confidence to set goals and achieve them.
