One of the biggest challenges facing kids these days is a lack of confidence and low self esteem.
This lack of confidence can cause shyness, difficulty making friends, poor focus, low grades at school, laziness in studies and at home, a disrespectful attitude, bullying or getting into trouble. Our Kung Fu classes help kids to become fit, focused and feel great while building that confidence so that they can thrive! All of our programs encourage students to minimise contact and avoid conflict.
We want to help your child find their path to confidence and grow their self esteem while learning valuable life lessons and how to defend themselves all in a safe and welcoming environment.
Cubs Program
Ages 5 to 8 Years
The Cubs program is a specialised program built around setting achievable age appropriate goals for children in this age group to progress in the art of YiQuan Kung Fu, self defence and bully protection, all while burning off energy and getting fit.
The Cubs have defined topics, clear grading curriculum and all of this is provided in a constructive and fun environment. Our goal is to help your child develop a strong moral character and positive attitude and we are committed to helping all of our students reach their full potential. Tigers Program
Ages 9 to 12
The Tiger program is all about helping students in this age group to develop good healthy habits, a positive attitude, lifeskills, sharp focus and proficiency in the art of Yiquan Kungfu. We know at the heart of helping your child to develop these attributes self confidence is fundamental and because of this our classes concentrate on developing physical, mental and spiritual growth for your child by providing clear positive feedback and making them feel valued.
Our professional instructors develop your child’s confidence with their body physically by encouraging healthy exercise habits, good nutrition and a positive, educated mindset. Your child will form healthy attitudes and behaviours by developing routine and discipline so that they can achieve their goals at school, at home and in martial arts. Our aim is for them to show respect for themselves, their parents, their siblings and their teachers in order for them to develop positive relationships and show respect for all. Help your child to develop a healthy body image as they value fitness, co-ordination, speed and the confidence to stand up for themselves not just physically but most importantly using a firm and fair vocabulary and body language.
